Overview

Creating and updating educational content is time-consuming – especially when you have to keep teaching the content at the same time. This challenge can be met by online teaching platforms like Lt. Lt’s simple drag and drop authoring style allows educators to quickly and easily create or update content, saving time and minimizing stress. Even better, Lt offers a collection of over 360 life science lessons, professionally designed and ready to be used instantly. As a cloud-based platform, students can interact with content whenever and wherever they like through any internet-enabled device. Lt also does the heavy lifting for grading and feedback, allowing educators to spend more time focusing their efforts where they are needed, rather than on low-value administrative tasks.

Target audience

Educators curious about how they can better author and deliver enjoyable content that is easily accessed by students.

Outline of activities

This workshop will give attendees a chance to author content within Lt, and then flip the script by interacting with the content as a student. Best practice and tips will be given throughout, alongside a chance to discuss current and ideal teaching methods with other educators. Please note that a laptop is needed to use Lt, unless you can sweet talk another attendee into letting you join them.
